Classic toxicology is combined with quantitative investigation of extensive networks of molecular and functional alterations occurring at several levels of biological structure in Systems Toxicology. Society is placing a greater emphasis on the potential health concerns connected with exposure to chemicals found in ordinary life, necessitating the development of more predictive and precise risk-assessment methods. Developing such techniques necessitates a thorough mechanistic understanding of how xenobiotic chemicals disrupt biological systems and cause negative consequences. Thus, Systems Toxicology techniques combine advanced analytical and computational tools to provide modern strategies for collecting such mechanistic understanding. The requirement of describing the disturbance of these systems, as well as their resilience, in response to potential hazardous exposures, is added to this difficulty by Systems Toxicology. One of the main goals of Systems Toxicology is to link complex exposures to population-level effects via susceptibility variables and changes in biological processes.
